Bored Kids: 4 Games You Can Do With Bubble Ball This Summer

Are your kids saying they’re bored? The dreaded phrase that comes from their mouths a couple of weeks into the summer break. No worries, DFW Bubble Ball Metroplex has you covered. There are so many fun ways that you can change up the game. When your kids have had enough of the typical way you play, here are four other ways that you can have fun with the game.

1. Lat Bubble Ball Standing

The name of this game is pretty self-explanatory. There will need to be one person who is the officiator. This is the person who is in charge of blowing a whistle to begin the game and start or pause the game. Everyone is to spread out and come into the playing field simultaneously from different sides.

Once the whistle blows, everyone will charge towards one another. The main objective of the game is to remain on your feet and not be knocked over. Protect yourself and try not to be knocked down. Once someone bumps you to the ground, they are out and sit on the sidelines. The last bubble standing wins the game.

2. Bubble Bump Monkey In The Middle

Everyone has played monkey in the middle at some point in their life. This is something very similar to that. Once you have appointed your “ Bubble Bump Monkey,” they will position themselves in the middle of the field.

All other players split into two teams. One team on one side of the field and one on the other. They will all line up diagonally across the field. As the whistle blows, all players will do their best to run across the field and not be “bumped” down. The only person who is doing the bumping is the “Bumping Monkey In The Middle.” The game continues until one man is standing.

3. Bubble Bump Sumo Wrestling

It sounds like a great time, doesn’t it? The rules are pretty simple. There are two players and one referee. The two bubble sumo wrestlers will stand inside of the ring.

With bubble ball games, usually, once you’re knocked over, you are out. That is not the case with this game. If you get knocked down, get up and keep fighting. The object of the game is to “bounce” your opponent out of the ring.

4. Bubble Ball Bowling

This game is a hoot to play. As you would imagine, there need to be bowling pins and a ball. You need five players to act as the pins and one to serve as the ball.

Once the bubble ball pins are in place, the player appointed as the ball needs to stand back at the starting line. As the whistle blows, the bubble ball player needs to run and knock down the bubble ball pins.  Each player has two tries to see how many bubble ball pins they can knockdown.
